Alright my fellow #Flames fans, listen up…
Now that we got radio coverage back, let’s do our part to show as much support as we can.
This city deserves a lot more media coverage for this team, let’s show the networks that it’s a worthwhile investment!
Happy 2026-27 schedule day!
Here is the #Flames 84-game schedule that starts October 1st vs. Seattle.
Some interesting start times, a Boxing Day game vs. Vancouver, and more.
Rambled so much I needed a Word document. Perhaps through some blurry eyes.
The support this week has been overwhelming.
Thanks for everything, friends. 🖤🩶❤️
@Fan960Logan lived in calgary and worked away from home, my 4 hour commute listening to you and @Fan960Steinberg made the drive feel like an hour drive. someone grab this group and give them the outlet to keep going.
Sean Kelso, VP of Communications for the Flames said the team was "blindsided" by the Fan 960 news today.
It's wild that Rogers wouldn't let the Flames know that this was happening despite having the radio rights for the 2026-27 season.

Biggest reason the Flames ignored free agency today: they don’t have any space left, and want to save contracts for young prospects. Conroy said he has to leave a handful of his 50 contract spots open for Carels, Reschny, Potter and Wyttenbach, who all have designs on capping their college seasons by joining the Flames for the final few games of the upcoming season.
Carels said he wants one year at UND and isn’t tempted to try making the Flames this year, saying he wants to be patient to ensure he has a 15 year career.
The Flames have 25 players they are now developing, and by saying goodbye to 15 players over the least 48 hours the organizational flip is now in full swing.
They are still in search of help up the middle, but bringing in a veteran today would only take up a spot for a youngster.
Flames proving with their actions they are fully committed to the re-build.
Joe Iginla on his dad's reaction: "The first thing he said was that he had nothing to do with that. That was nice, because, obviously people have stuff to say about, 'your dad is part of the flames, or he played there.
"Obviously, haters are gonna always say something, and people will say something about your dad, but I feel like at this point in my career, I've heard about every insult and chirp there is about my dad. So I'm just gonna go out there and try to prove them wrong."
Projected top-10 pick Carson Carels isn't in Buffalo for the NHL Draft.
Instead, he’s watching from his family's beef farm in the Cypress River, Manitoba area, with friends and family.
His parents gifted him a custom belt buckle, which he's wearing for the watch party.

Video footage posted recently by the YouTube channel Project Fear, filmed near Area 51 at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), appears to have captured a new sixth-generation fighter aircraft, possibly the U.S. Air Force’s Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD), known more commonly as the Boeing F-47.
To believe that these two just get to walk off into the sunset without ever answering for what they did to our Country is beyond infuriating to think about.
And both of them are complicit in helping to install our current Government which only continues our slow march towards complete destruction of the Canada we once knew.
The Atlanta Flames debuted in 1972, they never had a 1st overall pick. The team then moved to Calgary, Alberta, in 1980.
The Calgary Flames, in 46 years, have never once had a 1st overall, or even a top 3 pick.
That’s 54 years in total. Spare me with your team is unluckier.
I ain’t coming back to the Leafs. All you hating Leafs fans in my mentions can kiss my ass. I don’t choose your team over loyalty. So FUCK YOU. You’re now my enemy. GAME ON MOTHER FUCKERS🖕🏼
This is how you psyop an entire nation. This is a fear campaign to keep Canadians compliant & willing to go along with his agenda.
He knows exactly what he’s doing when he repeatedly says “ in a dangerous and divided world”
