@Rvatae congratulations on being selected the Malcolm Piggiot player of the week. @ThomasDaleDSA @Lawton8Matt @gabe_mccollin11 @61sharknose @TD_DLine @TDKnightsFB @_reavisisland #PFTWC #12thMan #TheStandardisTheStandard

Hello Knights,
Every season Coach Tucker likes to honor one of our former all time great Knights, Malcolm Piggott. Malcolm was one of the greatest athletes to ever play for the maroon and grey. He loved his teammates and was a model student for all Knight's to follow. After Malcolm's tragic passing in 2007 the day before football season started, The coaching staff decided not to wear Malcolm's number 11 jersey. In 2012 Coach Tucker wanted to keep Malcolm's memory alive so he started to award the Jersey Yearly to a player that embodied Malcolm's spirit and love for Thomas Dale.
Coach Tucker's motto is PFTWC- Play For Those Who Came Before, Play For Those Who Will Come After and Play For Those Who Cannot!!!!.
 In 2018 Coach Tucker Retired Jersey Number 11, which was worn by another former Thomas Dale Great, CJ Reavis (Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons and Saskatchewan Rough Riders). However Coach Tucker and CJ wanted Malcolm's spirit to live on and never be forgotten what it means to be a TRUE KNIGHT. So now each week we will award the number 11 to a deserving member of the Knights football team, who embodies all that Malcolm stood for.
This week’s Malcolm Piggott player of the week is Sr Daviontae Davis. Tae is one of our unsung hero’s week in and week out. Each week he splits reps at RB, SS and is on every special team we have. Last week vs Matoaca with the score all tied up, Tae put us on his back and carried the load on offense. The offense put together four 5 plus minute drives and kept our defense fresh. He finished the night with nearly 100 all purpose yards, all coming in the second half. Thank you Tae for being so dedicated to the Knight football program over the last four years and Congratulations on being selected as the Malcolm Piggott POTWf#PFTWC #11, continue lead by example.

[Coach Bruce @TD_DLine]

This young man burst onto the scene last season as a Sophmore. He has a tremendous first step and a relentless motor.

[Coach Bruce @TD_DLine]

This young man started some games as a Sophmore against top teams. Very quick with very good top end speed. Football IQ is high as well. Doesn't shy away from contact.

[Coach Bruce @TD_DLine]

This young was pulled up from JV after two games and never looked back. Can play FS/SS/OLB. Very coachable young man and looks to be perfect on every play. Very aggressive and will lay the wood.
