Today, I want to address a distressing event that happened to my colleague. The purpose of this post is to WARN you and help you avoid the same fate - so PLEASE READ TO THE END. 🔵

A hacker repeatedly contacted the company's C-level representatives, posing as OKX Ventures. When a meeting was supposed to take place, the hacker claimed that Zoom was not working well and suggested using another tool: Meetly-dot-gg. 📲

The brand representatives installed the software, which bypassed a VirusCheck, and upon logging into the application, the hacker gained access to their login credentials and wallets, which he then drained. 🤯

The losses are estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. The case is currently under investigation by specialists, and we will soon know more details about this sophisticated hack.

👉 FOR YOU - Be careful! Attacks through building relationships and trust by impersonating a well-known brand or entrepreneur happen every day - stay alert!
