January–March 2026 quarter marked another strong step forward for Rwanda’s agri-export sector.
Through strategic interventions led by NAEB, the sector continues to deliver tangible results in accelerating Rwanda's socio-economic development.

In 2025 GDP, agriculture sector recorded 7% growth, supported by a remarkable 32% increase in export crops production.
Key drivers:
☕ Coffee production surged by 60%
🍃 Tea production increased by 8%
This highlights the growing contribution of agri-exports in driving agricultural growth and strengthening economic performance.

Throughout this week, NAEB is conducting an intensive training for Tea Makers from all tea factories across the Country. This initiative is designed to calibrate skills, refine techniques and enhance #RwandaTea quality to meet the highest global standards.
By equipping Tea Makers with advanced knowledge in tea processing, tasting and quality control, Rwanda continues to strengthen its position as a producer of premium teas sought after worldwide.
