I got spoiled today for Principal’s Day. Coffee, treats, cards, flowers, posters and many sweet office visitors made for an amazing day. Thank you, @RweRams! You’ve made this year incredible. I’m so lucky to be your principal!
Senior Stroll through the @RweRams halls today with Ridgeway alum who are graduating this weekend. It was fun listening to them reminisce and share stories from “back in the day” 💙💛
Administrators gather today to celebrate the completion of the school year and to begin planning for next year. Thank you #CPSBest for a great year! Have a safe and enjoyable summer! 👏
Delayed post but shout out to our amazing basketball and cheer teams and coaches on a winning season and advancement in the end of season tournament. What an awesome group of kids lead by the best! @RweRams

Every student was encouraged to contribute up to five books that were ready to be donated or discarded, with teachers contributing to the drive as well.
Every student at Ridgeway Elementary School has the opportunity to leave school on Thursday with a new book thanks to the school’s second winter book swap event.🧵
“The kids really look forward to it,” Principal Taryn Brinlee said. “They get to come in and pick up their own books and peruse through the things that other kids have loved and read. It’s just another opportunity to get books in the kids’ hands.”
Book swap happened to coincide with silly sweater day and here’s our winner Mrs. Malloy! Teachers were able to check out donated books to take for their classroom as well!
