My work bridges two worlds-- theater and academia--with very different initial reactions to a new idea:
Me: Hey! Here's this new thing I just thought about and I'm trying to work through...
Theater: Yes! And....
Academia: Yes. But....
I guess technically my insurance covers the COVID vax for free. If you go to primary care physician. Are there any PCPs administering the vax anymore? (1/4)
@raksingh Technically we are not eligible for the Bridge Access Program because we do, in theory, have insurance that covers the vax- at places that do not, in fact, have the vax or are out of business. Only option left: pay $800 for my family to get vaxed. Nope. 2/2
@raksingh Count me out. CVS has the vax but my insurance does not cover it there. It does cover it at my PCP--who is not providing the vax-- and at clinic-- that has gone out of business. 1/2

Have you been hearing any reports that CVS Caremark is not covering the new COVID vaccine at CVS Pharmacy, or maybe it's a quirk of my particular plan?
.@CDCDirector Please help. Caremark does not cover Covid vax at CVS. IBX covers only shots from PCP, but my PCP does not have the vax. Can't afford $200 out of pocket. How do I get this vax????
@CDCDirector Please help. I tried to get COVID vax but was told CVS Caremark does not cover it at @cvspharmacy ;use medical insurance instead. But that only covers shots from PCP, and my PCP does not offer the shot. I can't afford $200 out of pocket. What do I do?
