The scammers mentioned in my previous tweet (@VDeck_call which changed its twitter name) are mad I saved some people from getting scammed. They don’t know how minting NFT’s work or that I have a good grasp of the english language - as evidenced by this fake screenshot.
@ChikinTX@Stuhlinger96@henrique_dutt@geoffkeighley Hate this chart. This isn’t unique or concurrent views. If you watched for five minutes, switched off for a bit and tuned in again - they consider that two views. TV doesn’t work that way so they aren’t comperable. (I do think way more watch TGA than the oscars though)
With the recent location update for X we learn, unsurprisingly, that most of the scam bots that reply (to things like lost password or stolen / hacked bitcoin posts) are from - shocker - nigeria. It’s the nigerian prince email scam reborn.
@tellshami@factormeals Just look at this thread. Feels like they’re trying to trick a bunch of people at the same time into logging into the site. https://t.co/DgzaAWHRvl
@TeamYouTube Oh, i reported it. Many others have. Youtube just doesn’t care. You can see what ads a video is attached to on your backend. Look at the volume of comments on there saying they’ve been served the scam ad. 27 million views now.
This fake AI product keeps getting pushed to me. Does @TeamYouTube have zero quality control for ads? https://t.co/OzQK3EMf1T
19 million views for this credit card harvesting scam so far.
@WholesomeSmacka@deadavatars@nerdcity The verify link was the scammer who got control. If you lost access to your discord account (is that what you’re saying?) change your password and it should fix it
@OPrimark@GreenTextRepost Saturday Night is a bad comparison because it wasn’t made for a massive budget and wasn’t expected to do well and will never see an overseas release.
I love starting off every message from people that contact me out of the blue with: “hello! Good to meet you. Just so you know, I won’t download anything” they drop off 99.9% of the time. But there will ALWAYS be people who fall for downloading shit.
I HAVE JUST BEEN PHISHED AND MY METAMASK DRAINED
Thankfully, the hacker didn't get so much as I don't keep most of my crypto on this account. How it happened:
I saw a message request here from @BerniePleskoff who was asking to interview me. I checked him out; he seemed like a legit journalist @Forbes
@aplcake It cracks me up because… of course forbes wants to write an article about you! Don’t mind the fact forbes doesn’t follow them. Don’t mind the fact they want you to download something. Ignore fifty red flags. Oh, and don’t ask any friends if it sounds legitimate.
