@beneficial Amen, say what you will.
This thing is a silver bullet if there ever was one.
Whether in house expansion to a new business line, of which I have thoughts, or from buying other companies.
$MSTR There is a right side and wrong side of history.
The right side will say that the Prefs to buy bitcoin + simultaneous cash flow was the right decision.
The wrong side will disagree.
The Peter Thiel Interview Question:
Slightly modified.
What is one thing that you’re right about, and nearly every smart person around you is either (a) wrong about or (b) not thinking about?
$MSTR Free Cash Flow will go up a lot.
It’s not a short term payback.
1. Yes that’s fair, but that doesn’t dissuade the necessity of making money as a company.
2. Yes as Steve Jobs would say. But it’s a focus from one idea to the next to create the best customer experience. Much could be said here but it’s distracting to the main point.
3. Forward statements and future outcomes should be weighed differently, and perhaps separate from business operations.
4. The business opportunities won’t always be there. Opportunity cost, valuation, market/shareholder perception, etc, are all dynamic & changing.
It matters a lot to:
1. Stay in the NQ100. Just a few weeks ago the market cap was 96/101 companies in the index.
2. Try not to get booted from MSCI. It looks bleak. The ~3% of shares they bought is half a Saylor assuming he owns ~6% of the company.
3. Get into the SP500.
There’s a lot of passive capital out there buying the indices on an ongoing basis, that otherwise would not flow into Bitcoin.
The positive sentiment of institutional acceptance and adoption would be extraordinary.
Being in all 3, could and perhaps should improve the credit worthiness of the company, and our credit rating could benefit.
This combo of 3 indices could feed on itself, in either direction.
@montezumapalace@Man_with_a_van Does the Sprinter drive well? Any significant tradeoffs with the diesel vs gas?
The standard cargo area can work, it’s just all trade offs like everything else in life. The box is cool for bigger & fixed bed area, big fridge/freezer, shower area, etc
@NYC_MSTR_BTC@Man_with_a_van I’d rather not do a trailer. 1 piece is easier & less risk.
With my cybertruck, I’m limited by the amount of superchargers. Big parts of the 🇺🇸 don’t have SCs. With gas/diesel, there are stations everywhere.
Also, if I had to get a flat bed to recover.
$MSTR One thing I’m concerned about with Daily Divs for the non STRC Prefs is that, it may fragment shareholder interest and liquidity that otherwise would have went to STRC.
What I’m really trying to say is, I think we have to get away from the Moral Hazard (market interpretation of precedent & expectations) of preemptively buying back STRC at 97-99.
