Prices are making renting the only option with the cost of even a small one bed flat let alone a house if u want a family one day

@BungalocityMatt @Little_Winston1 @TheBritLad A lot of council properties were built by them after ww2 and the blitz & also getting rid of old unsafe housing and their poor conditions. Especially with the increase in population in cramped cities/immigration following the decades since ww2, they had to build homes en masse

@BungalocityMatt @TheBritLad No just a property rented out by the council instead of a private landlord with the benefit of being able to buy the property out right after a certain amount of years. You’re thinking of hostels (shared multi occupancy properties for people who are getting back on their feet)

@_B___S This brought a tear to my eye, ive just lost my best friend cass, who I rescued when I was 14/15 and he was 9 months old, and Im not far off 30 now. Im still grieving a lot. Even in his old age he still tried to do everything loved doing, I hope too see him again someday 🕊️💔
