Just finished “The Last of His Kind” from @ByMcCullough and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ve always enjoyed Andy’s work and this book didn’t disappoint.
The Dodgers have now been eliminated in the NLDS in 5 of the 10 full season trips to the postseason. That’s a long lead up to disappointment. Three of the last four 100-win seasons. I would still rather them do that than miss the playoffs though.
If the Dodgers win today, it would be the first three-game road sweep this season. They swept the Angels (June) and Dbacks (August) in two-game sets earlier this season.
So the Mike Trout looks more like Tim Salmon and the Shohei Ohtani is holding the bat like a right-handed hitter. Also, doesn’t look like Shohei. I think Creed Bratton was in charge of Quality Control.
I thought it was strange that every TV in the Red Robin I’m at was playing the PAC-12 Championship Game for football when there are plenty of other sports options.
Then I remembered I’m in Utah today.
.@OrelHershiser talking about how he makes a pizza with pepperoni, hot pesto, cold ricotta and jalapeños. I can’t say I love jalapeños but man, I would try it. I love pesto and ricotta.
Who wants to draft a fantasy baseball team tonight? Retweet for anybody interested. 10-team Roto on ESPN. A few spots available. https://t.co/gq9gngtzal
I'm making my way back from the holidays to get on track. Big question on my mind is if @JTFoundation10 will continue doing the LA Marathon fundraising. I'll still find a way to raise some money for next year. JT/KT are good people.
I going to do something big over the next couple years. I’m going to lose 100 pounds and run in the 2024 LA Marathon while raising money for Justin Turner’s foundation. I’ve got to do it.
Andy Pages delivers the clutch hit!
The No. 5 @Dodgers prospect doubles in two to extend Glendale's lead to 6-3.
