Feeling blessed. This morning I was made aware that I was featured in the May/June Sportorial. This is an IAABO publication about officiating basketball
Every time my story is told, I never want it to be about me because I am comfortable with who I am. However, I do want my story to get eyes because there are others that may not be as comfortable around me or in their own skin!
I have assignors that refuse to use me and coaches who don't want me in games because of my disability. However, I continue to work high level basketball despite my disability. Going to the State Semi-Finals 2x, an alternate at The TD Garden 1x, and many high level games around Mass.

The true disabled are those who won't include people with disabilities and give them opportunities! @54Board@IAABO@NBA@espn@celtics@OfficialNBARefs@NBAOfficials@MIAA033
So this popped up in my memories today. Living in Boston THIS is the ONLY Yankee item that will ever hang in my house.
This is a case where you root for the guy despite laundry!
When @Bos25Sports@ButchStearns and I talked we talked about how important of a role @jabbottum31 played in my love for baseball and sports in general.
However it didn’t make the cut. However his lessons still are with me today as I take the field or court.
Yes having Cerebral Palsy I have my fair share of adversity, but nothing like trying to explain to people why a Yankee jersey hangs in my man cave 😀
Go @RedSox
@bradfo what a great interview with @Andrew_Bailey37 on the @BBisntBoring podcast
As someone who has coached HS baseball in Mass with CP throwing BP mimicking Jim Abbott and hitting fungos with a fungo racket. This touched me
How about helping this guy out. for every Green, since that is their colors, Baseball Isn’t Boring T-shirt you sell in June a portion of the proceeds go to his foundation! I might even donate myself!!
Check out my own story from Fox25 Boston! @Ben_ESPN

Another 90,000+ steps this past week. Not bad for a guy with Cerebral Palsy
This time last year, I became very stagnant after basketball season. I was very tired and after officiating close to 40 Varsity games I felt my body reacting differently. That is when I decided to start my daily walks sometime around June 1 of last year.
This year I’m not as tired however because of the amount of steps I’ve been putting in my body is sore. Yes some of that is due to old age and some because of the CP.
While many would think it would be side that is affected by the CP. It’s more of my left side that is giving me the aggravation.
Because of my gait and my limp there is a lot of compensation going on my left side, which affects my lower back, my glutes and my hamstrings
I was able to get a Thai body massage from Heather Morgan Wellness at Tag Team Fitness & Tag Team Wellness which was a life saver
There are not many days I go without being pain free but through PT and some massage therapy I am able to function and reach some goals
If anyone would like to help me reach some goals feel free to reach out @Nike@Reebok@hoka@newbalance@yourcpf@UCPBoston@FitbitSupport
The 3rd base coach has to go. He has been sending runners nonstop
Would’ve had second third with Duran Duran up with less than 2 outs fly ball gets tying run in. Bad situational baseball.
Breslow has an ax grind and it’s just putting people that he likes and won’t give them any headaches in positions they don’t belong in
Reminder that we draw a winner for this one TONIGHT!! Just RT the tweet below this one and make sure you’re following. Stoked to paint this retro Sox logo. I’ve only done it once before and it was in the early days of me cutting & painting, so it’s been a bit.
Good luck!
All any of us can ask for is opportunity. I would embrace to opportunity to talk to your camp, your team, your organization or your business!
Want to talk about how to overcome adversity? Want to talk about how important inclusion is? Want to talk about how to stay involved doing something you love?
I’m not famous or anything like that. I just like helping others by telling my story!!

I been working hard for a while now. There are days that my muscles are tight but am extremely grateful I am to walk even if it with a significant limp.
Think about how much could be raised for the Jimmy Fund if Red Sox players implemented self imposed team fines
If you can’t get a runner in scoring position in with less than two outs you are fined
Another solid pitching performance spoiled by lack of run support
Last night I went to the golf simulator and I posted my best score ever shooting an 80. (38-42)
It reminds me that although I may have a disability it doesn’t stop me from doing things that I love and achieving new milestones
How cool would this look on your bag?
So when you on the 12th and already gone through two sleeves of balls let this serve as a reminder that you can achieve anything and you should be playing the cheaper balls!
Who wants one of these beauties!!
