The @NextUpRecruit showcase was a success! Had a great time yesterday meeting all the athletes and parents and helping provide more scholarship opportunities to athletes across the UK! 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Suddenly everyone’s a professional NIL representative… I didn’t realize so many people were so well versed in contracts, tax laws, and everything in between
We’re hiring at NextUpRecruitment.
This is a high-performance, conversation-driven role. You’ll be speaking with motivated athletes and families every day, helping them understand what it actually takes to get recruited and where they stand.
We’re especially interested in people who are competitive, coachable, and consistent.
💰 OTE: $60,000 – $90,000+ annually

A lot of back and forth lately on this app, and a lot of judgement without facts, but I want to celebrate a good friend…
Brandon Goble (@JUCOadvocate) has been a breath of fresh air in the basketball community since moving into the space over a decade ago.
I’ve been lucky enough to know him since the beginning, and there’s a few things that make him unique in our industry;
1) Players first. Brandon’s “hidden agenda” is always taking care of the players. Whether it’s running events, promoting players, or countless phone calls, it’s always been for the players.
2) His celebration of different cultures. Basketball unites people. It creates a unique family tree connected by the game. Brandon not only helps kids from all over the world (without asking for anything), but he also celebrates where they come from.
3) Lack of financial motivation. I remember back at Eastern Florida during one of the first JA48 events, Brandon was talking about how he needed 100+ coaches to buy a packet on Day 2 to NOT LOSE MONEY. Meanwhile, not a single player paid for food, lodging, or event. He could be making A LOT, but his morals and ethics mean more.
4) Unwavering support. This guy is always promoting, marketing, and helping people. He made an important call to Casper College before they offered me the job (without me asking to do so might I add). He does it for players, agents, coaches, and really anyone, as long as they are for the players and do things the right way.
5) Willingness to call out scams, fake schools, accounts, etc. Recruiting is stressful for 95%+ student-athletes. By using his platform, he has saved countless families heartache and money.
Sure most of you stopped reading, but I enjoy bragging and celebrating people who have always put the players first. Thankful to call you a friend, and our game is better because of you.

Former JUCO players seeking extra eligibility will want to watch this case to see if the TRO turns into a preliminary injunction. If Diego Pavia and athletes in his class got an extra year, then why shouldn’t all former JUCO players?

I have some bad news guys.
It appears the fake JUCO, created by the BS “prep” school, that swore to me they were real and they’d show me just how real, appears to have not fielded a team this year.
A tragedy that such a prestigious almost real academic institution folded.
