Whatever you think of anyone involved in these internet conflicts, you must always fall on the side of freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech is designed to protect speech that you don’t like. There’s loads of things out there that I wish people wouldn’t say, but they still have the right to say them.

There’s some things that I say, that others wish I wouldn’t say, but I still have a right to say those things!

You can’t be just for free speech for the speech you like! You have to allow it for those you don’t, or it’s not free speech at all.

The answer to speech you don’t like is more speech, not less.

Katydid had a YouTube channel dedicated to reporting on entertainment news worthy clips on Youtube! She also had hours of original content with commentary, interviews with artists and writers, and was a promoter of the independent comic-book scene!

Her removal is unjustified and merely a matter of personal grievances from people who disagreed with her stances and opinions.

@TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators please look into this matter and restore Katydid as an important contributor to the YouTube community.
