You don’t need a big “why” or be passionate about something to start a business.
At first, it’s enough to do it for the money.
Later in your career, you’ll find your true why.
And, if you’re lucky, you’ll also find your passion.
“One of the most important components of leadership is knowing what you will accept from others and what you will not.”
1) Know where the line is, and if you don’t, figure it out, stat.
2) Once you have it, do not budge from it. And let people know when they’ve approached it.
Americans are so mentally detached that when we see unspent money we rally to sign a petition to spend, and in this case give away, the surplus rather than leave it to use when heaven forbid we actually need a pool of money to dip into
😂😂😂
As a business owner:
“You should be passionate about making money and building a professional life and organization you desire. Hobbies and social causes often do not make good businesses”
Big lesson in there 🙏. There’s tons of pressure these days to always “do what you love”
Don’t do it.
Thinking of letting go? Dont
Thinking of checking out? Dont
Thinking it will be fine? It wont
Thinking what could it hurt? It could
Keep the foot on the gas.
Keep. Fucking. Going.
Happy Friday
I enjoy relaxing in the sun, by myself, enjoying my own thoughts & company, sometimes with a nice beverage, sometimes listening to music/podcast, probably way too much for any one person.
Happy Sunday Folks 😎👍
@steven_segal88 I’d have already skip traced this dudes address, bought 2 golden plated pens, and booked a red eye to his doorstep at business open tomorrow morning 😂
Smoking!
@kickflips_ Id say we are born with motivation to do what it takes to survive (walk, get food, etc) but we either learn or are taught to be motivated to obtain most everything else (career, money, possessions, etc) and each person values these differently so motivation varies accordingly
I have a hunch:
The old saying about an apple a day, yes that one… the truth to that saying has less to do with the skin and meat of the apple than it does the core and it’s contents
Do with that information what you will
Dude cancelled 4 hours before his reservation because he “found a better deal at the airport” after complaining about price a few days ago
I proceeded to rent to someone else for $5 more per day plus renter chosen addons
Moral: don’t drop your price to win customers
13 minute lung capacity is very impressive by itself. But add 60-70 meters for that amount of time? 200 feet underwater!? Gah damn!
Reef Snorkeling at 15-20 feet I thought my eardrums were going to explode lol
The BAJAUs are a tribe living the Zamboanga Peninsula in the Philippines can genetically withstand up to 13 minutes underwater at depths between 60 and 70 meters.
Most can humans hold their breath underwater for 2-3 minutes, but for Bajau, 3 minutes is practically nothing.
