Many LA DA candidates are running on their bios, trial stats, or a name.
That’s not enough to beat Gascón.
Elections are about voters, not candidates.
DA @EricSiddall gets that.
⬇️Here's how he would MODERNIZE the office, protect public safety & move FORWARD w/key reforms. ✅
Nothing like one failed Republican candidate for AG endorsing another failed Republican candidate for AG.
The rest of us want to move forward.
Neither of these guys get that.
📊⏰ New polling from Thrive LA shows voters are ready to fire George Gascón. He's at ⛔️27 on job performance, ⛔️28 on favorability, and at just 14% in vote.
2/3 undecided, but @EricSiddall leads a tight pack of competitors in the race.

.@latimesopinion wants to keep LA DA George Gascón "in place" for another 4 years.
But electing Gascón to a second term won’t accelerate criminal justice reform; it will stifle it.
Why voting him OUT is the only way to move forward with real reform:

Please take a minute and listen to my conversation with @LarryMantle discussing my candidacy for District Attorney representing a new generation of prosecutors. LA County needs a leader ready to tackle violent crime and implement responsible reforms.

A+ analysis of the LA DA's race from Jim Newton, in @CalMatters this AM, including:
➡️Private polling has Gascon underwater with voters of all political stripes (19 keep, 52 dump)
➡️Center-left challengers can beat him, less so for those on center-right.

Welcome to the campaign, @Jeff4DA .
Btw, it’s Sheriff. Not “Sherriff.”
Talk to a deputy. They’ll tell you. LASD is the county’s largest law enforcement entity. They also provide security at county courthouses… where us line DAs practice law every day.
Key data points:
The three deputy DA candidates currently running against George Gascón -- @johnmckinney_@jonathanhatami@MariaforDA -- outraised him 11 to 1 from January-June. ($541K to $46K)
And they have 15x more cash on hand. ($494K to $28K)
@LADAOffice This “official” feed always seems to be about the officeholder instead of the office.
Let’s also recognize the mothers of crime victims, the mothers who have been victims of crimes themselves, and our colleagues who somehow find the time to be A+ moms while doing this job.
@JordanMBecker@schlickw@georgetownsfs He certainly is. And far too modest.
I'm so proud of, impressed with, and humbled by the both of you. Such good company. Keep it up!
Wouldn’t it be great if we worked for someone who could competently run the office instead of someone who incessantly ran for office?
It will only get worse as the election nears.
Today, @GeorgeGascon dissolved the frontline @LADAOffice units that handle domestic viol. & sexual abuse. Some disagree w/ his agenda, but ALL expect some managerial competence from Gascón. Sadly, it’s a nonpartisan virtue that he doesn't have.

LA County Public Defender Eyvin Hernandez has been wrongfully detained in a Venezuelan prison for almost a year. This week, the @LACountyADDA Board asked @POTUS to fight for his immediate release.

@LADAOffice@SiaKordestani @GeorgeGascon Wondering who is writing these responses. County employee? Campaign / “PAC” (in both senses, given the context) volunteer or employee? Someone on the “executive team”? Seems like a new approach.
