Just before 5 a.m., the Mint Hill Police Department posted an alert to social media saying Margaret Wallace Drive was closed from Stoney Glen Drive to Gates Drive. A red transport van was also seen with bullet holes in the back windshield.

Charlotte Fire responded to a house fire this Friday in North East Charlotte.
The fire took place on Chrisbry Lane where officials on scene shared that the fire occurred on the back side of the building and everyone inside was able to make it out safely with no injuries. @wsoctv
