There was a #fire overnight at DTE’s Blue Water Energy Center in East China Township 1 hour northeast of the Detroit metro area.

Multiple fire crews led by the St. Clair Fire Department responded. The cause is unknown. #DTE says no employees were hurt. @wxyzdetroit #7NewsDetroit

BREAKING: #Detroit Police responded to shots fired overnight in the Brewster Homes on Detroit’s east side.

Witnesses say 75 people peacefully gathered outside to celebrate the life of a man who died from a heart attack. That’s when a few men approached the group and opened fire.

#Detroit City Council votes next week whether or not to expand the curfew from 10 to 8 pm during the Ford fireworks show on June 22nd for minors under 18.

DPD responded to shots fired on Sunday at 9:40 pm in downtown Detroit. A 14-year-old boy is stable after being shot in the chest.

2 juveniles ages 16 & 17 were arrested. DPD also recovered the gun used in the #shooting.

The City of #DearbornHeights has begun installing 250 flashing stop signs at intersections near schools and parks. It’s all done as part of an effort to make neighborhood streets safer.

Detroit Police say 2 men and a woman were shot dead Sunday morning around 3 am at the Sunoco gas station on the corner of McNichols & Lahser on #Detroit’s west side.

Police say the triple fatal shooting stemmed from an altercation after 2 vehicles were in an accident.
