R has shown development in her map making. R demonstrates spacial awareness and reasoning when describing where on the map her friends & family live. R likes to use blocks and shapes to design her roads to replicate her map drawing’s. @inchlairELCC
A stick can be a mark-making tool too! This one was used to scratch, roll, print, and drip paint onto the canvas. R says, “I like using my stick because it helps me do tiny painting and I can do it slowly”. #earlyyears#nature#creativity#expression#markmaking@inchlairELCC
R has been helping to recycle waste ♻️ R said “I know where these go, plastic is for the blue bucket, paper is for the red.” R can be seen helping to recycle at her Papa & Nainai’s house. @inchlairELCC
It’s an amazing feeling to see the girls growing in confidence each year @BSPA. R never fails to make us laugh and H has moved us to tears with her agility and gracefulness on stage.

The girls have been helping to peel and chop fruit to make healthy snacks for during the day. R said “I like chopping” and H said “we have to count the total number first and then divide by 3 so we all have a bowl.” @inchlairELCC@MissRankinLVPS
🌻 The girls have enjoyed learning about plants and growing. They are patiently waiting for their sunflowers to grow. The girls would like to measure their sunflowers to see which one will be the tallest. R said “my sunflower is going to touch the moon” @inchlairELCC

R loved trying her oats and yogurt at nursery. She helped to look for some new recipes with oats. R & H made baked oats with a selection of different toppings. H blended the oats to make an oat flour. R loved stirring the mixture & chopping the banana’s. @inchlair ELC
H has been inspired by your reading challenge, she has set herself a goal to read 25 books before the summer. H has been reading her sister’s bedtime stories and is trying 10 mins of reading from her favourite chapter book each day. She is on a reading mission! @MissRankinLVPS
For Christmas we wanted to create a fun environment where the girls could challenge themselves and build confidence through problem solving, balancing and motor skills. Taking ‘the floor is lava’ to a whole new level! R is excited to show some of her new tricks! @inchlairELCC
The girls were making their own Christmas bunting. They were talking about different ways to make patterns when sewing. R said “you can go over the bridge then under the bridge to make patterns”. H said “I like making loops around”. R said “I do this at nursery”. @inchlairELCC
