Following tonight's meeting regarding the abandoned match between Yoker Athletic Sunday and Porto Thistle on Sunday 8th February, the Sunday Trophy committee have decided to remove both clubs from the competition.
We have the right to an appeal.
LUCAS HERNÁNDEZ: "I never understood and never will understand how my father left overnight, abandoning my mother, my little brother Theo, and me. If one day he expressed the desire to see me, I’d agree to meet him. If he wants to give me an explanation and then leave, no problem. Biologically he’s my father, but I’ll never consider him as such. What he did is irreparable. I would never abandon my son. I wouldn’t do it for anything in the world. Even if I had to sleep under a bridge for my son’s happiness, I would do it."
THEO HERNÁNDEZ: "We never understood why our father left. One day he was gone, and we never heard from him again. My brother and I had a tough but beautiful childhood. Everything we are, we owe to our mother. She raised us."
@gordonduncan7 any chance of digging out the audio of the caller saying Nancy would win a major European trophy in next 5 years. Want to know if he still thinks this 😂
@Motherwell_Lad@Dunkm97 Yeah that's true, you should give Sam Wardrop vlog a look, he went to the same club I'm sure and you see the true state of things out there. Isn't as glamorous as it sounds unless you're top top.
@Motherwell_Lad@Dunkm97 He would've been earning next to nothing there, moved there as his partner had a career opportunity there and I'm sure he set up a side business there with coaching.
Pre-season game number 2 tomorrow against a side that have been really successful in the GDSFC the last couple of years.
Another chance to look at players we aren't familiar with in a much changed squad from last week.
First pre-season friendly done and dusted, for some of the lads it's first time playing with each other so it will take time to settle.
Thank you to @YokerAthleticFC for the kits and for a couple of the committee members coming down.

@DrumchapelU Well played both teams today, a joy to referee and both battled hard considering the awful spell of weather we had! A lot of credit also goes to the young Bishopton goalkeeper, one of best individual performances I've seen this season 👏
@Richieb1988 She was a bright spark when she came on mate, excellent finish from her! Glad to see she's doing well and still enjoying her football, long may it continue!
