Operations is a series of mini-game problems strung together.
Youโll find reoccuring themes in the type of mini-games you are playing.
Iโm going to be writing about 1 Mini-Game per week so follow along by bookmarking this thread because I will be updating it each time I post a new one.
@TristenPalori Lead Management, Quote Building, Contracts, Payment Tracking, Site Photos, Install Photos, Comments
All working and adding training modules + Sales Resources dashboard
They could vibe code that in a weekend.
My assumptions:
The CRM is more of a system of record for lead management. All actual work and communications happens in another platform. Billing happens in a different platform.
What Iโd recommend, build out a CRM with similar lead management tools as HubSpot with pipeline stages, but also incorporate standardized packaging and deliverable timelines to sync the lead management tools-> Contract-> Delivery -> Billing in one platform.
Iโd have to learn more about the deliverable and how that work is managed to know if it makes sense to include a screen for them to manage their working pipeline.
Agentic workflows on top would be standard follow-up agent on cold leads and proposals, possible delivery agents, AI Invoicing and AR Follow-ups
@_Josue_Gonzalez@boringmarketer Hey! I have an Enterprise Development team that can help you with the more complicated build. We pay a generous rev share.
@boringmarketer Need some finance control tools.
Invoice auditing vs Price Books
Subcontractor Scope vs Invoice Audit
AR Tracking/Followup
Job Costing Workbook
@rileycollins__ Whatโs the Chiliโs order? Iโm kind of sold on trying it
Also on Papa Johnโs, Iโd recommend their Cheese Stuffed crust and have you rerate.
@toddsaunders Iโd avoid if youโre a data compliance heavy industry (Financial/Medical/Government), but otherwise a custom CRM is worth the time investment.
@toddsaunders Yes I donโt know how someone can justify paying for a CRM that barely beats a google sheet when they can build one in a weekend and add any feature they want in a day.
@ConnorAbene Real time dashboards rarely carry the decision insight value they cost in data maintenance and most metrics only need a weekly/monthly/quarterly feedback loop.
Defining the correct feedback loop for the KPI is more important than seeing the data all the time.
@138Fitness@realest49919420 Ahh I was swapping like every 30 minutes.
I started alternating them between Alpha Pouch and nicotine and that mixed really well.
@realest49919420@138Fitness Find your dose. At one point I was doing like 5 of these pouches back to back and they gave me an Adderall type stupor where I gained heightened singular focus, but lost the ability to context switch or remember what other tasks I was working on.
Watching Re-Runs of Real Estate TV Shows and part of me really wishes there was some AI Augmented viewing experience that would pull in the current market value of the houses.
Seeing a โStarter Beach Bungalow sell for $360kโ then seeing the recording was from 2013. ๐
Any guesses at the current market value?
