This may be the best news I’ve received in a LONG, LONG time! Thank you to our Superintendent, Laura Mitchell who worked with Governor DeWine to ensure our teachers & staff are prioritized!!!
A Covington woman felt violated after a stranger ripped up an LGBTQ pride flag flying on her porch, but the action her neighbors took afterward changed her entire perspective.

I enjoyed the opportunity to connect with @Enquirer @SharonCoolidge & @JasonWilliams. We talked @Reds & Thom Bennamann, my experience as School Board Member during these crazy times, AirBNB...and of course, the @CB_Connector

My thoughts shared w the @Enquirer ‘A mistake is forgetting someone’s name. Thom Brennaman intentionally used a word designed for decades to put people down and deny them equality.’ https://t.co/D84R9KuCpO
The good news is...Thom Brennaman’s comments didn’t just offend the LGBTQ community. I’ve seen a diverse group from both parties publicly denounce the comments. That’s progress.
Please join us! The next Cincinnati School Board meeting will be this coming Monday, July 13th starting at 8:30am. As always, we will welcome public comment during the meeting. Here’s the link:

DeWine specially said places where you can get coffee can remain open to run-in-out to get what customer needs. I assume this means places like @Starbucks and @coffee_emporium can remain open.
Great news to hear that Betsy Sundermann has been recommended to fill the current vacancy on City Council. Westside resident, successful attorney, mom, CPS parent and a passionate Cincinnatian - what a great addition she would be to City Hall!
