The Matrix was a bit extreme suggesting our robot overlords would only keep us around to serve as a moist power supply.
We can also recognize which images have buses, bicycles *and* crosswalks.

I've always thought of my blog as sort of a rich resume. As such, putting up hobbies on it feels weird like: we were looking for a dev with typescript experience, an interest in rust and is terrible at piano!
So, I have this blog that I never post to because I want to keep it scoped to my career and my career is not my hobby at this time.
Should hobbies creep in or should I spin up a "second channel" and let the resume stay stagnant?
Both seem problematic in their own way.
@walkingriver I found it helpful to consistently use the variable names acc (accumulator) and cur (current) as a mnemonic device to help remember the order of the arguments.
You tend to be thinking about how the "current" value affects the accumulator.
@mortendk Pico8 is a cool game environment that uses lua as the language so pretty accessible. There's a web based version so low barrier to kick the tires. My kids love opening games they like and customizing the sprites.
The acronym YAGNI helps me make better code, but I feel like devs tend to interpret it as a less helpful message.
This doesn't flow quite as well but the words tend to be more semantically on point...
YAPSIP: You ain't precognitive so it's presumptuous.
@stephenfluin@StefanieFluin Oooh, but ask it again taking the photo from the other side of the table! I want to see how many people change their answer.
@stephenfluin@KateSky8@StefanieFluin I don't think the bowl needs to have direction of it's own.
If you're in your back yard, and can't see something in your front yard, you'd attribute that to it's being "behind the house" right?
"I can't see my car. It's in front of the house from here."
