Remember the name… 16-year-old striker Teddie Lamb is having a CRAZY first season at Man City’s academy! 🤯🔥

Can he make it to the first team one day?
As we come to the end of Luke’s scholarship at Leyton Orient, he is looking for opportunities both in the UK & abroad. Comfortable in Midfield or as a RWB. Clips & profile below https://t.co/CE3jZuFuKY

🧠⚽ Pep Guardiola on why, at a certain stage of development, real growth no longer comes from comfort but from pressure, and how modern academy football often falls short of exposing young players to the realities, competition, and varied scenarios needed to build truly relevant experience.
“To grow up, to be a better player as quick as possible...The way is playing against (example) Exeter, in front of 40k+ people, supporting unconditionally. [Against] guys that are fathers, with three kids at home. That is the way you challenge. Skills are not the question. To grow up, (Academy players) they don’t compete. That’s why the process, sometimes you don’t know exactly if they’re at the right moment or temperament to play.”
