I never thought I would say this. But I’m tired of watching Ronald Acuna play baseball. Just seems very disinterested and half hearted at this point. Maybe it’s injuries, maybe it isn’t but it’s rough #Braves
Barring a major change of heart on the part of the South Carolina administration, Lamont Paris will return for a fifth year to lead the Gamecocks men's basketball program, multiple contacts have confirmed to me (90 percent plus maybe higher). @johnmwhittle reported the same last night on TBS. Paris is 62-67 with four seasons nearly complete.
"I made a change last week, Jack."
Following the #Gamecocks' 26-7 loss to Oklahoma, @Jacktveltri asked Shane Beamer if he thinks any changes need to be made after another bad offensive performance.
@abc_columbia
Shane Beamer's Virginia Tech decision could be a simple one as South Carolina's slide continues.
My column on the #Gamecocks' 5th-year coach after Saturday's disappointing loss to Oklahoma: https://t.co/wOF1WLdWNN
My takeaway from this is we're seeing two elite defenses going at it w/ coaching staffs who had months of prep time for each QB.
Arch Manning will be fine. This was always going to be a tough spot. Ohio St's made a couple more plays and that's the difference.
Two contenders.
BREAKING: Four-Star EDGE Julian Walker has Committed to Michigan, he tells me for @rivals
The 6’6 250 EDGE from Columbia, SC chose the Wolverines over North Carolina & South Carolina

@JDonati_SC over your long weekend take a few minutes to read this article and ask yourself “is this who should be running our baseball program” time to step up and do something. What used to be an ELITE baseball program has turned into a bottom feeder
Behind the scenes of South Carolina baseball
- Failure to develop and practice
- Trashing TrackMan
- Players backsliding in productivity
So much more into why the season turned into a historically bad one, not only at SC, but one of the worst in SEC history (VIP)

Paul Mainieri making his weekly radio appearance on 107.5 The Game this evening.
“Sometimes you have to almost get to rock bottom before you can start to make the improvement to get the program to where you want it to be. I don’t have any doubt we’re going to get there.”
NEW: I caught up with Paul Mainieri this week to discuss the impact of all the changes in college baseball since he last coached.
“I forgot how hard it is to win college baseball games, I guess.” #LSU
