The good simply DOES NOT outweigh the bad when it comes to the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act. The bill would cut up to $57 billion in future disability compensation for 1.5 million veterans but provides only $7.9 billion in new VA benefits, just 14%. That’s a terrible deal for disabled veterans!
DAV rejects the idea that Congress must strip benefits from one group of veterans to “pay for” new benefits for another. Call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and tell your Representative to vote “NO” on H.R. 9237, the Take Care of America's Veterans Act.
@Shady_Justin The ball in glove and Montreal are the most unique and inventive where the Yankees and cardinals are iconic due to wins before sliced bread existed.
This is grassroots advocacy in action. 🇺🇸
Your VFW is meeting with members of Congress on Capitol Hill to oppose the Take Care of America's Veterans Act as written, urging the REMOVAL of the disability compensation offset provision and a funding solution that doesn't come at the expense of veterans and their families.
Even if you can't be on the Hill with us, your voice matters.

The entire problem with #TCAVA is that it is in fact a permanent change.
Congress would set the precedent that disability benefits could be reduced at any time in the future when they want to free up some money in the budget.
So excited to see Carsten drafted to the @Brewers - a team, city, and community that welcomed me with open arms from day one and has a special place in my heart 🙌🏾 The work starts now. Only the beginning!!!
@CopTalkLIVE I have served with Female Marines smaller than her that are scrappier and meaner than male Marines twice her size. 🤷♂️ I she can intelligently enforce the law without being a jackass she earned her badge.
@Spyk3O@alphafox Black belt is literally zero. Western schools for the most part as I have seen are for profit so they need to grind out belts so students feel like they are progressing. Not great.
