It's hard to do these things and not become a better runner:
1. Consistently running easy miles
2. Running hard 2-3 times per week
3. Consuming a balanced diet rich in high-quality carbohydrates and protein
4. Prioritizing sleep
5. Lifting heavy weights 1-2 times per week
