@KinesisMonetary I'd like to see more commentary from Kinesis with regards to clarity act, how it affects metal-backed crypto, what's happening with the debit card, etc.
@davidbateman I think you're going to say that physical possession is critical but hear me out...
Thoughts on tokenized gold/silver for commerce (e.g., XAUT/PAXG/KAG)? Feels like the right balance of "backed by metal" and "fractional and easily transmitted".
Realistically, how hard is it for a US biz to take payments via crypto? Not just BTC but more obscure stuff like PAXG or XAUT?
Does the payer need to pay w/ crypto or can it be converted at the time of purchase (e.g., pay w/ Visa but it's received by the seller as crypto)?
@mclaughj There's still no technical reason Apple couldn't just detect that the recipient is a "green buble" and switch to local storage/scheduling.
But they don't feel like it because that doesn't support their "walled garden" strategy.
Still jerks.
You can "send later" w/ Apple Messages, but only to other iOS users... which makes no sense.
It's not like the message is sent along w/ instructions to the recipient's app not to reveal it until the designated time.
Apple just blocks the feature for funsies. Jerks.
@mclaughj I see. So if it's iOS -> iOS then Apple sits in the middle and releases at the right time.
If it's iOS -> Android then it goes to the carrier?
How are Android users able to schedule messages then? Google is the biggest advocate of RCS. Are they keeping messages on device?
@Shemcray2@Mormonger I'm interested to hear how the Church destroyed the RS? Truly. I haven't heard those allegations.
I HAVE heard the allegations that Elders are struggling » https://t.co/M2n3nWS2zZ
@googlenest thermostats were a big innovation when they launched… and haven't changed since.
Why must I set a temperature range or choose between 'heat' & 'cool'?
It should know I like 72° from 9am-8pm & 65° through the night.
Figure the rest out!
@scottew THIS!
If I wanna buy glasses that don't quite match my vision... freakin let me. It's MY problem.
I get an eye exam. The prescription lasts one year. Are my eyes dramatically worse on day 366?
Of course this was lobbied for by optometrists.
