@Wellsy_07@AdamSchefter There’s a rule that FOX and CBS are guaranteed one of each divisional game for their respective conferences (FOX NFC, CBS AFC). First GB-MIN game aired on CBS, so this one can’t get moved from FOX.
@LBoogieOnSports They’re not all eligible to win! That’s the point of the AP’s clarification. The guy literally said Darnold would have been a candidate last year, but not this year.
@LBoogieOnSports They changed the rules so that guys like Darnold can’t win. The awards coordinator for the AP said, “Sam Darnold probably would’ve been a candidate for the Comeback Player of the Year award before the AP issued guidance to voters before the season.” That implies he’s can’t win
@LBoogieOnSports He’s not eligible to win based off the new criteria. He didn’t overcome illness or injury. So you shouldn’t be able to bet on someone who literally can’t win the award.
@henchman21 You are imagining that. All those LSU/Bama night games were on CBS. ESPN never had the rights to the best SEC games. Getting the entire package is definitely a big deal
@BenVerlander What makes you think baseball is the 2nd most popular sport? NBA is bigger, and if we want to be real, college football is the actual No.2.
