Dubas 100% signed Mantha as a but low guy who if it works out could sell at the deadline. Obviously since we were a playoff team this year he didn’t get sold

@PenguinsJesus Leafs would probably be asking for Kindel in return with the other assets. I think the whole fanbase would rather keep Kindel for our future than give him up for an injury prone guy going into 30’s. Not shitting on Mathews he’s amazing just probably not best for the teams future

Don’t get me wrong I think Knies is a good player and many teams would love to have him but thinking him alone is worth 4th OVR is crazy let alone getting that pick and more in return

If you are talking point wise in that sentence Knies made his debut at 20 years old and first two seasons put up 35P and 58P. Thats pretty matchable

@nhlpens We have lots of cap room and I don’t think anyone’s really expecting this team to be a contender next season so it’s not like we’re pinching pennies with our cap space so even if Geno stays at 6.1M for one year it’s worth it
