I've got a weird vision now.

They'll be playing Coventry Sphinx and Rugby Town soon and both wear colours similar to my favourite Cov City 🩵 and I've met fans who follow CCFC and their local one the last few seasons.

Paul Weller was still only 18 when he wrote "In the City", a burst of youthful frustration that introduced The Jam to the wider British public. Released as their debut single in 1977, its sharp guitars and Mod influences immediately separated them from many of the punk bands emerging around them.
