DITV Player Spotlight: Percy Jackson III @P_Jackxon10
Position: Defensive End | #93
Height/Weight: 6’3” / 250 lbs
Class: Redshirt Junior
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA (323)
High School: Venice High School @FootballVenice
Previous Schools: Compton College / Glendale College
From the palm trees of Venice to the palm trees of the 956 — Percy Jackson III is bringing West L.A. swagger to the Valley trenches. And having gone to college in the 323 myself, I can tell you this: that city grit doesn’t fade. It travels.
A two-sport captain at Venice, Percy led both the football and basketball squads to deep playoff runs, winning an L.A. City Championship on the gridiron and a regional title on the hardwood. As a senior, he racked up 89 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 5 sacks while serving as the defensive anchor for the Gondoliers.
Venice’s alumni list is stacked:
• Matt Smiley – NFL special teams coordinator (Buffalo Bills)
• Adam Krikorian – 2x Olympic gold medal-winning USA Women’s Water Polo coach
• Marques Johnson – 5x NBA All-Star (Milwaukee Bucks)
• Gene Washington – NFL wide receiver & Super Bowl champion (49ers)
• Michael Richards – Emmy-winning actor (“Kramer” from Seinfeld)
• Anjelica Huston – Oscar-winning actress (Prizzi’s Honor)
From Compton College in 2024, Percy brought pure havoc — 43 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a touchdown reception in just 10 games. Before that, he stacked 5.5 sacks as a freshman at Glendale College.
Now, he’s swapping the Pacific breeze for South Texas heat, and offensive tackles in the Southland better take notice. With length, power, and a basketball player’s footwork, Percy is a mismatch nightmare off the edge.
From the 323 to the 956 — Percy Jackson III finna eat!

As a former Division I athlete (Robert Morris) , I’ve always been passionate about sports. Now, I’m taking that passion to the next level by pursuing a career as a sports agent representing athletes across all sports.
I recently completed my Master’s in Sport Management from California Lutheran University with a 3.7 GPA, and I’m looking for guidance, mentorship, and career opportunities in this field.
Here are some of the key courses I focused on:
Sport Management & Leadership
Sport Law
Global Sport Business & Analytics
Event Planning & Facility Management
Strategic Sport Marketing
Sport Agency & NIL
Global Sustainability & Sport
Research Methods and more
I’m ready to use both my experience on the field and knowledge from the classroom to help athletes succeed. If you have advice, connections, or opportunities, I’d love to hear from you or even if you just know someone!
