Uefa paid off an alleged mistress of Gianni Infantino while he was its general secretary, The Telegraph can disclose.
The woman received a six-figure sum after the alleged relationship with Mr Infantino while he was a top official at European football’s governing body.

Roger Ebert famously said a movie should be evaluated for what it is & how fully it achieves its director’s vision. It’s unfair to criticize a film for not being the movie you wish the director had made. Emily Wilson can’t seem to forgive Nolan for not making her version of the film.
Today I join others from across our game and call for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA President.
Infantino has debased the office that he promised to elevate. He has lied, deceived and tried to feather his own nest at the expense of the game he is supposed to serve.
He has lost the support of his senior staff, his closest advisers, the vast majority of people who devote their lives to this sport and even, it would seem, the FIFA Peace Prize winner.
It is too late to save his dignity but it is not too late to save football. He should go. Now.

Yesterday, my daughter, Kyra, passed away peacefully after a 9 month and 11 day fight against one of the cruelest diseases I’ve ever seen up close. She was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, specifically Glioblastoma. I have felt all of your concern and love for these months and wasn’t ready to be anymore specific than I was.
Kyra was a 28-year-old young woman who loved deeply and who is impossible to describe in 280 characters. While her life got stolen from her, she handled these months with courage, poise, and resolve. And all I want is for no family to feel what we feel today. For no young person to suffer the way she did.
In lieu of flowers, if you are moved to make a memorial gift, please consider “The Kyra Fund” (https://t.co/4bl8cxV1Dt)
This fund will be used solely to research treatments for Glioblastomas.
🚨 Bruno Fernandes has won the most Man of the Match awards in the Premier League this season (18), followed by Rayan Cherki with 10.
He’s in a league of his own 🇵🇹🔥
@DonaldClarke63 Apart from completely missing his core point (vast majority of general public don't care about opera or ballet, and he doesn't want this to happen to film) it's crazy to see someone actively celebrate how certain art forms have priced out a significant portion of the population
@aggyf_sol@TheNassrZone No he won't. He has to prioritise his fitness, especially with the world cup around the corner. They're bloody friendlies!
Every fan buys those tickets knowing there's potential injuries to their favourite players. If he's out injured, tough luck
@DizzyJB@LCWTAction My personal opinions:
1 - If OBAA wins PGA race is over regardless of SAG
2 - Game over for Lilleas, not for Skarsgard
3 - Leo or Hawke winning SAG would make them frontrunners, Jordan winning would have him level with Chalamet, Plemmons winning would mean Chalamet still fave
@LCWTAction@brando99981@Kalshi_Culture@Kalshi Yeah, do we know why he missed the ceremony? I assume he was working. If not, it looks pretty apathetic from him
Would have been interesting to see what type of speech he would have given
Who do you have for SAG atm? I have a feeling Benicio takes it
