My amazing friend @kath_richards_ has a new book coming out September 4!! A Love Most Brutal is the second book in the Morelli Family series and follows Maxim and Mary in an arranged marriage. I absolutely loved the first book, and can’t wait to read A Love Most Brutal.
I was recently floored by a line of dialogue in a children’s book—“We don’t ignore bigotry, Jack. That’s how cowardly bigots turn into brave bigots”—if you were wondering why children’s books are important, and why there has been so much concerted effort to ban them.
Never forget that Dave Rogowski walked so that Seth Cohen could jog and Noah Roklov could run (we must protect Adam Brody at all costs and thank him on behalf of all true yearners) #NobodyWantsThis
I’m just a 30 year old asking authors in their 50s to stop filling their books with 80s references. Your 32 year old character was born in 1992 and your 22 year old character was born in 2002. They don’t know the names to the characters from The Breakfast Club or quotes from it.
Don’t turn reading for pleasure into yet another chore. If the book you feel you “should” read does not grip you, put it down. Pick up another one. Sustaining your lifelong love of literature is far more important than finishing every book you start.
Every time I start a new Lorraine Heath book I’m reminded that she’s the best and I should dedicate my time to only reading her books over and over and over and over again
whenever a man says “childless women contribute nothing to society,” the ghost of the famously unmarried Jane Austen rises and says, “you are such a disagreeable man that it would be quite a misfortune to be liked by you.”
So many readers asked for Lord Langdon's story -- and here it is at last! Coming December 24! Which gives you time to catch up on the other books in the series if you haven't had a chance to read them. #amreading#romancenovels#historicalromance
