Why?

Because they decided the "hardship" he would face returning to Zambia outweighed the protection of the Australian community.

This individual arrived on a student visa, never finished his studies, and went on to abuse a toddler and rack up a massive criminal record.

Yet, he gets to stay.

This begs the ultimate question: Is the Albanese Government’s immigration policy completely broken?
We were promised that Ministerial Direction 110 would fix the flaws of the past and put community safety first.

Instead, we are seeing the exact same dangerous outcomes.

Why does Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke keep letting this happen with zero consequences for the offender?

Minister Burke has the personal power under the Migration Act to step in, override this decision, and deport this individual. Why hasn't he?
