Today was supposed to be about celebrating my birthday. Instead, it feels like I'm mourning the end of something that has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.
Messi hanging up his boots for international football today hurts too much. Because I fell in love with football because of him--and so badly I wanted to be like him as a person, play like him and I always tried everything he did on the pitch.
I grew up watching that left foot do things that didn't seem possible. The goals, the dribbles, the impossible passes, the heartbreak with Argentina, the tears... and eventually, the moments we had waited our entire lives for.
Copa América. The World Cup. That smile. Those tears. And then giving more than he could in the World Cup this year for his dad, his country.
Messi gave me memories that will stay with me forever. He made football more than just a sport and it became a part of who I am.
And today, on my birthday, that chapter finally ends. I always knew this day would come, but I wasn't ready for it.
A part of me genuinely died today. And it'll hurt even more when he's finally done with league football. Won't be ready for that day either and I don't want to imagine.
There will be other players. Other World Cups. Other memories. But there will never be another Messi. And there will never be another footballer who makes me feel the way he did.
Thank you, Leo, for making me fall in love with football. For giving me a childhood worth remembering. For everything.
Gracias por todo, Leo. Siempre. 🐐
Update: Now Google India is trying to twist the facts, claiming I "declined service" when their walk-in center rejected the warranty. Worse, their policy wording tries to dodge accountability for completely killing my display during their warehouse inspection. I’m done with their endless, copy-pasted script loops. I am taking the Consumer Affairs path, waiting for them to reply. I will not accept their ₹80k extortion for a manufacturing defect. I trust the Dept of Consumer Affairs to resolve this.

I hope to get a fair resolution from @madebygoogle

Everything is shot #withNothing Phone (3)
Wanted to get this off my chest because I think it could even help someone else too. I landed a job 2 years ago at a design agency in Mumbai. Well, actually, they approached me. I quit after the very first day- here's why.
Strike 1: They weren't providing a desktop or laptop to work on. I had to bring my own personal laptop- which they told me only when I entered the office for the first time. (Luckily, I had carried my laptop that day)
Strike 2: They had a weekly team meeting that same day and I sat there watching this 20-something year old "Founder-CEO" absolutely verbally thrash two designers for delivering work one day late. They countered saying, they took an extra day to deliver thoughtful, quality work rather than something done in haste. This guy had the audacity to yell- "I don’t care about quality, and neither does the client. Also remember, clients pay us through these contracts, which fund your monthly salary. So shut up and deliver, even if you think your design is shit."
Strike 3: After witnessing all of that, I was told to help with designing their own website, which I did. After I left the office at 7:30pm, I got a call from a teammate working remotely, asking me to make certain changes at 8:30pm. I told them I had left the office, will do it first thing the next day and went offline while they kept trying to call me.
Final straw: At 9pm, they sent me the final offer letter of 28 pages. All 28 pages safeguarding the agency, and nothing for me. The salary which was agreed upon had a new undiscussed retention clause which said 10% of monthly salary will be withheld and given to me after completing a year. And this was never a part of the salary negotiations.
I rejected the offer replying to the email at 2AM (because they didn't care about boundaries either). Till the next day, I kept getting messages and calls from the "founder-CEO" and the manager asking what went wrong. I didn't bother explaining myself.
For a very long time, I thought I made a mistake by not keeping that job. Because right after that, finding work wasn’t easy. I struggled to land freelance projects, questioned myself constantly, and in my lowest moments even wondered if I had walked away from my only shot. I used to think maybe I should’ve just tolerated it. Kept my head down. But looking back now, I don’t regret leaving for a second. That first day showed me everything I needed to know about what that place would’ve done to me over time- to my confidence, my mental health, and the way I see design. Walking away from exploitation when you need money feels terrifying. But sometimes that is self-respect. I didn’t leave because the work was hard. I left because disrespect was built into the culture. And honestly? That decision taught me a lesson early: red flags on day one are rarely one-offs. Sometimes the opportunities you reject protect you more than the ones you accept.
I'm doing considerably better now.
Selling a Voltas 85L Air Cooler I just got delivered today. It's too big for my house and Croma won't take it back :(

Took a while, so what? 👀
We’ve spent years building this quietly- through everyday moments, big decisions, and everything it took in between.
Life kept moving, changing, testing us in the worst ways, but we kept choosing each other every single time.
This day was special, not just because of the ring, but because of everything it represents. 💍
Grateful for each other, for the journey so far, and for everyone who’s been a part of it.
Us, always. ❤️
Nothing Phone (4a) first impressions 📱
Spent about 2 weeks with the newest "a" series device from @nothing. A few clear upgrades over the Phone (3a), a couple surprises, and some interesting changes to the design and Glyph Interface.
Here are my first thoughts... ⬇️
It was fun to have @getpeid flip the @nothing Phone (4a) series to us to get our reactions. ❤️👀
Thanks to @Technerd_9 & team @nothingindia for making this happen 🤜🤛
