Had a great experience taking my own blood at home with @rythm this weekend

I usually have a phlebotomist come to my house through Superpower but I had a couple of negative experiences between them not showing up on time & bad customer service

In contrast, I had this past weekend a home in between trips and was able to order the test ahead of time, take it fasted, then drop the sample off at FedEx

And got the results in ~48 hours!

It’s not the same comprehensive testing you can get done with Superpower or Function (I’m guessing bc of the lower volume sample) but if you just need to quickly check something like me such as progesterone or thyroid it’s perfect

This was the easiest, most frictionless experience with a brand I’ve had in a while

Highly recommend if you’re on the road a lot and trying to get your bloodwork done regularly

I’m sorry to hear the last two blood draws were unsuccessful. This is quite rare, however I’m glad to hear the team took care of you.

A few tips for your next collection:

- Warmth matters: Cold temperatures can reduce blood flow. Try a warm shower and use the heat pack on your upper arm/shoulder for a little longer 5 minutes before starting. You can also hold the heat pack close to the device during the draw.

- Make sure you’re hydrated.

- If there is no blood drawn after 2 minutes, press the red button again.
