The Russians continue to turn our infrastructure and everything that supports ordinary life into their targets. This morning in Kyiv, a “shahed” struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge. Overnight, residential buildings, railways, and energy infrastructure in many regions came under Russian attack. In Chornomorsk, a drone struck a vessel.
Importantly, our warriors always find a way to justly respond to these attacks and take the war back to where it came from. Over the past 24 hours, our long-range capabilities effectively struck targets serving the aggressor’s war machine. Our sanctions reached the Samara region, as well as the positions of occupiers operating Iskander missile systems in the Bryansk region. There are new results in the Black Sea.
I thank all the units involved for their precision and systematic work. Russia must stop its absurd escalation.
Idag är en viktig dag - vi samlas i en tid av många mörka krafter. Det är många orosmoln och krig i vårt Europa. Tillsammans behöver vi vara modiga och handlingskraftiga. Tillsammans är vi starka. #centern@Centerpartiet@Centerkvinnorna
Today, Sweden has announced its largest defense assistance package for Ukraine — nearly $1.4 billion. This will significantly strengthen our soldiers on the battlefield and help protect our skies from wicked Russian air attacks on critical infrastructure.
Sweden is among the staunchest supporters of Ukraine’s defense capabilities, and this package builds on our historic agreement on Gripen aircraft and broader defense cooperation.
Thank you to @SwedishPM, @PlJonson, the Government, and the people of Sweden for this meaningful contribution to the defense of life.
Here is the moment when Polish Foreign Ministry Radoslaw Sikorski reminded America, UK, France and damn Russia that they guaranteed Ukrainian security and borders in 1994🔥👏
Sikorski: “As you know, Russia, the USA, and Great Britain guaranteed the security of Ukraine and its borders.
In exchange for Ukraine giving up what was then the third largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world. In 1994.
So you have an obligation to Ukraine to help them defend their freedom.”
“So, you voted to build a wall.
Well, dear Americans, even if geography isn’t your strong suit — because you tend to see America as a country rather than a continent — you should know that beyond that wall live 7 billion people.
And since you may not like the word ‘people,’ let’s call them ‘consumers.’
Those 7 billion consumers can switch from iPhone to Samsung or Huawei in less than two days.
They can trade Levi’s for Zara or Massimo Dutti, and within six months replace Ford and Chevrolet with Toyota, KIA, Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, Volvo, Subaru, Renault, or BMW — brands that often surpass them in quality.
They can stop watching television altogether, and even if they don’t want to, they can stop watching Hollywood movies in favor of higher-quality films from Latin America or Europe that offer richer stories and better cinematography.
Believe it or not, people can skip Disney and instead visit the Xcaret resort in Cancun or travel through Mexico, Canada, South America, and Europe.
Even in Mexico, you can find burgers better than McDonald’s — and with higher nutritional value.
Have you ever seen pyramids in the United States?
Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, and Sudan have ancient wonders — but the United States does not.
If it did, Trump probably would have bought and resold them by now.
We know Nike isn’t the only sneaker brand — there’s Adidas, and even Mexican brands like Panam.
We understand economics better than you think.
And we also know that if those 7 billion consumers stop buying American products, unemployment will rise, and your economy — locked behind a self-imposed wall — will collapse to the point where you’ll beg us to tear it down.
We didn’t want to do this, but… you wanted a wall?
“Well, now you have it.”
Her approval rating has reached a historic high: according to a recent poll, 85% support her candidacy.”
Someone send this to JD Vance before he goes on another rant about 'mismanaged' European allies. Alexander Stubb just reminded the world that the Nordics own the Top 10 lists for justice, clean government free from corruption and equality.
While Trump and JD Vance are busy obsessing over 'dominance' and crude GDP, the Finnish President is over here dropping facts. Turns out, when you actually invest in your people instead of just billionaire tax cuts, you end up the happiest people on earth. Stubb is 'bloody happy' because his country actually works for everyone.
Alexander Stubb: “You're asking a question from the second happiest country in the world and the happiest country in the world, you know.”
Moderator: “Who better to answer this?”
Alexander Stubb: “And the third? No?”
Moderator: “Oh, they're very happy.”
Alexander Stubb: “Yeah, yeah. No, I sometimes, you know, sometimes when I hear the discourse, especially of economists who are looking at crude GDP as the save-all measurement, I think us coming from Nordic countries, we value welfare societies which are a combination of open market economies and clear safety nets.
And if I look at our Gini coefficient, if I look at all the measures of international data—which five countries are in top ten, whether it's justice, whether it's least corrupt, whether it's open, whether it's welfare, whether it's environment, whether it's open media, gender equality—they are the Nordics. So I don't buy the argument that we're doing bad. I'm actually bloody happy.”

Norway and Sweden (16 million people) has won as many gold medals as USA, Germany, Japan and Italy (600 million combined) in the Winter Olympics thus far.
I live in Sweden.
And I work more than half of my time in the United States.
I know both systems — not from headlines, but from daily life.
Sweden has a capitalist market economy.
Private ownership. Competition.
Global companies.
We also have social reforms: healthcare, paid parental leave, paid vacation, and social security.
This is not socialism.
This is not communism.
It’s capitalism with guardrails.
The market creates wealth.
Society prevents bad luck from becoming a life sentence.
Our freedoms are intact.
Our economy is competitive.
And no — this isn’t theory.
I live it.
Today, ICE is no longer a federal agency tasked with fighting illegal immigration. It has become the armed wing of a power that kills its own citizens.
But Trumpism is not the madness of one man—that would be too easy an explanation.
No, Trumpism is a populist and nationalist ideology that seeks to spread across our continent.
In the face of this reactionary international, we must build an alliance of democrats from every country.
“It brings up mixed emotions to represent the U.S. right now… Just because I wear the flag doesn't mean I represent everything that's going on in the U.S.”
- Team USA Olympic Skier Hunter Hess
The anti-ICE, liberal athletes are already insufferable at the Olympics…
If you’re not proud to represent the red, white, & blue, stay home.
