The #Saints are bringing back one of their franchise greats, as eight-time Pro Bowl DE Cam Jordan is set to return, sources say.
The two sides are putting the finishing touches on a 1-year, incentive-laden deal during his visit today.
The Knicks wiping out a 22-point deficit in the fourth quarter against the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals turned out to be a warmup act for what might be the most memorable win in franchise history and the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history.
Brandon Aiyuk checks in again via IG...
-Confirms that the 49ers paid him about $50 million post-extension ($48.1m to be exact)
-Calls the 49ers "stupid" for paying him
-For some reason says 49ers voided his guarantees for 2027 (actually was 2026) and will be on a new team in 2027 (does he realize 49ers won't release him in 2026?)
FWIW Aiyuk is under contract with SF through 2028
Keena Turner will be inducted into the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame, the team announced. The induction ceremony will take place at the Week 6 Monday night game against the Commanders. Turner is a 49ers lifer - as a Super Bowl winner and beyond.
Most of L.A. is basically rooting for the Knicks, if they are going for either team. Spurs still the Lakers rival, and itโs never been any static with the Knicks. We hate the Celtics over everything
Mac Jones on not being traded, as well as the pay increase he was recently given:
โObviously, you want to have a chance to start, but I also love it here, and Iโm not really in the business of leaving good people, so Iโm not mad about it at all. I think itโs a great organization, and did a lot of fun stuff last year, but itโs a new year. I feel like this is the first year I have had the same offensive playbook, being in the NFL. So, thatโs kind of nice. If you go to a new team, youโve got to learn a new playbook again and kind of do everything over, so it is goodโฆ
I love the Yorks and everybody. It was good to have that gesture [$300,000 pay increase] sent my way. And for me, I want to build on it and have another good year. Itโs never been really about the money for me, to be honest. Iโm just glad that Iโm having fun again. Thatโs priceless to me.โ
