Three years ago, children in Gaza held a press conference in english to beg the world to stop the bombardment. ~22,000 children have been killed since then. No one listened.
🚨 Video showing real face of zionists
Zionists set fire to the house of a prominent Jewish anti-Zionist activist in Mea Shearim, a Jewish neighborhood of Jerusalem, while his family was inside the house
The only crime of this family was that they were religious and opposed Zionism and Israel.
It's not a difficult question to answer @bbcnickrobinson so let's look at what you are asking:
First, you need to understand that the question of whether Israel has a right to exist is already answered in international law: No, Israel does not have such a right and no right is codified anywhere in international law for any state, country or political entity.
Second, the demand for Palestinians to recognise Israel's 'right to exist' is a political mechanism meant to force Palestinians to retrospectively legitimise the Zionist movement, the displacement and ethnic cleansing of the 1948 Arab majority in the Nakba, and the termination of the Palestinian right of return.
Third, it is also a question meant to formally recognise Israel as an exclusively Jewish state which codifies unequal status for non-Jewish citizens—such as Palestinian citizens of Israel—by framing the country around a singular ethnic-religious identity rather than a state of all its citizens.
Fourth, this rhetorical focus on Israel's "right to exist" has historically been used to deflect international attention from ongoing territorial expansion, settlements, violence and murder of Palestinians, and the lack of an independent Palestinian state.
Lastly, by asking politicians this question you are engaging in pro-Israel advocacy - either knowingly or unknowingly - and as such you should take a moment to reflect.
I am glad @ZackPolanski didn't answer you but for sure he should have responded emphatically with a 'No, Israel does not have a right to exist.'
Also I am disgusted at your instrumentalisation of the Holocaust, the pogroms, and antisemitism in order to attempt to justify Israel's existence at the expense of the Palestinians.
⛔️ 🚨 A Palestinian mom and her son were waving the white flag was shot in her head by IDF snipers while she was holding the hand of her scared child who ran away leaving his mother dead on the ground 😡😡
⛔️Retweet and expose Israel if you have a little Humanity left in you‼️
Holocaust survivor and activist Stephen Kapos explains why he rejects Zionism, drawing on his childhood experience of persecution and his opposition to the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.
Judaism is a 3,500 year old religion
Zionism is a 150 year old settler-colonial ideology
Conflating the two is absurd and antisemitic
The people who do it the most are Zionists and antisemites because its in their interest.
Breaking: The UK’s Green Party votes to declare ‘Zionism is Racism’ and endorses one democratic Palestinian state across all of historic Palestine.
A Holocaust survivor supported the motion, saying:
“It is the Zionist ideology that led to this genocide.”
WCNSF — Wounded Child, No Surviving Family
This is an acronym being used in Gaza that should never have had to exist:
Medical workers began using it to describe children who arrive at hospitals wounded, but with no surviving family left to find them.
And let’s not hide behind vague language.
These are Palestinian children being wounded and killed amid Israeli military bombardment and ground operations in Gaza to this day. UNICEF has repeatedly documented children killed and injured in Israeli strikes, including children sheltering in homes, schools and makeshift shelters.
Some children survive the strike that destroys their family.
They wake up in a hospital bed with injuries they may carry for the rest of their lives — and discover that there is nobody left to take them home.
No mother.
No father.
No brother.
No sister.
No family member coming through the hospital doors asking:
“Where is my child?”
UNICEF has documented cases in which children were the sole survivors of attacks that killed their entire families.
This is what WCNSF means.
Not an abstract statistic.
Not a political talking point.
A child who survived — and everyone who loved them did not.
Nothing can make the deliberate or indiscriminate harming of children acceptable. The scale of destruction documented in Gaza demands scrutiny, accountability and protection for civilians.
A wounded child should have a family rushing to their bedside.
They should not have to become a five-letter acronym because everyone they loved was killed.
WCNSF.
Five letters created because ordinary language could no longer keep up with the scale of the suffering.
No child should ever have to become a category.
No hospital should have to need a term for a wounded child with nobody left to come for them.
Remember the children behind those letters.
There are an estimated 30,000 WCNSF in Gaza, they are not statistics. They are someone's whole world — until there is no one left.
Extremely shocking
The moment a child from Gaza was shot in the head by an Israeli sniper
He shot him for entertainment
He knew that the child was hungry and had come to get aid
When the sniper made sure that the bullet had hit the child’s head and killed him instantly, he began screaming with joy
He filmed the scene and published it because he knew he would escape punishment
They found the remains of a Hamas fighter inside his crib…
He was buried under the rubble of his parents’ home, bombed by “the world’s most moral army”
"Israel" volvió a perpetrar esta noche una masacre en Gaza, bombardeando en mitad de la noche un edificio residencial en el oeste de la ciudad de Gaza.
Mientras la selección de "Israel" juega las competiciones de UEFA, sus bombas siguen cayendo sobre niños palestinos a diario.
Israel has denied Palestinians access to painkillers and anesthesia, leaving wounded patients to endure unimaginable agony.
Hospitals—places meant to save lives—have also been attacked and destroyed.
This is the horror Palestinians have been forced to endure.
