@jonaswillett1 @Tinder Truly amazing how out of touch SV/PE culture is with the world outside of their digital bubble.
IRL Connection Economy? You mean the real world?
Racing to own it? What tf are you talking about?
Get out of your own ass and maybe you’ll be able to grasp the world around you
@Swiftsdatdude@MarlinsHistory Maybe some day you’ll understand that to fill a 30k+ person stadium, you need to make it a little convenient for fans to get to…
@Swiftsdatdude@MarlinsHistory I lived in Denver for seven years. Aurora, golden, Arvada, Lakewood, Englewood, Cherry Creek can all get to the stadium in <30 mins. Build a bar ballpark near where your fans live. It’s not complicated.
@MarlinsHistory It’s not on the city of Miami to make up the fanbase numbers that have been cut out by moving the team 45 mins south. There’s so many Marlins fans in South Florida that can no longer consider making the trip
@Swiftsdatdude@MarlinsHistory The stadium was moved 45 mins south, alienating Fl marlins fans from Martin County down to Broward. The stadium’s not accessible to these areas anymore. Geographically cut out a large percentage of your fan base and this can be expected.
@norrin_radd_42 @MarlinsHistory 🎯🎯🎯
For some reason, the accesssibility impact of moving the team 30-45 mins further south into a traffic-dense part of Miami never gets mentioned. Super hard now for Broward/ PB County fans to get down for games, myself included.
Vail Resorts ($MTN) likely to open tomorrow down to where if you invested 10 years ago you’d have done as well putting your money in a hole. It’s time for a change to become more asset-light, sell off resorts, and allow character and differentiation to return to skiing.
