Why would I buy $TSLA when I can buy $AMZN
One trades at an expensive valuation while the other trades cheap
$AMZN stands to benefit from the two businesses $TSLA has their bets on which is robotics and autonomous vehicles
Plus $AMZN dominates in ecommerce and cloud
@NolanC_GMX@wealthyfranklin Well the way that tesla makes money today is through selling cars. And that business is no bueno. And that’s the difference between tesla/meta. Both have future optionality (you can argue tesla more) but meta actually has a profitable business to fund those side bets.
@NolanC_GMX@wealthyfranklin The problem for me is the core business is buns. But I understand they are trying to pivot. If Elon does execute then tesla will do great. Good luck to you as well
@NolanC_GMX@wealthyfranklin Ur paying for another mans promises that may or may not come true. I’m paying for a cheap, dominant business that’s going to continue dominating in arguably the best business to be in, advertising. On track to become the #1 largest digital ad business in the world btw.
@sergemantova@DividendDrip A lot. It’s a long term hold. It’s a dominant business trading at the cheapest valuation amongst all mag 7s. I like buying stocks when they’re down, not up. That’s just me.
@DeepIceValue They were all massively undervalued then. That doesn’t mean they still aren’t undervalued now. I like meta out of the 4. If u think meta is expensive, i cant imagine what u think of the other hyperscalers.
