‼️WE ARE STRUGGLING‼️

Like most rescues at the moment we are really struggling - we really do need everyone’s help and support otherwise we are going to have to start making some very difficult decisions 💔

Our appeals are barely getting funded and with costs going up we cannot continue to rescue dogs without raising the full funds.

We have committed to a travel for pups leaving Bosnia as we wanted them traveled asap so they didn’t grow up in kennels / shelters but this invoice is due today and we don’t have the funds 💔

We have rescuers chasing us daily for funds as we have have dropped behind with pensions for our dogs💔

We have vet bills due for unsponsored dogs💔

This has all stacked up on us and we are feeling completely overwhelmed 💔

We are desperately trying to get dogs into homes, to reduce the number of overseas dogs we have waiting, to reduce the amount of dogs in kennels in the UK, we are trying to find homes for longtermers stuck, trying to find sponsors, fosters etc.

It feels like a relentless task and although the numbers are improving it’s just not happening quick enough for us financially to lessen the burden yet.

We have 18 THOUSAND followers ON X, nearly 24 THOUSAND members on Facebook, but its always the same small amount support us❤️‍🩹

So we are begging everyone if you see this post and are able to donate so we can continue to help the dogs please please donate. 50p or £1 or whatever you can afford from everyone is all it takes, we need everyone’s support to continue going❤️‍🩹

She’s 5yrs old and scared of most things however we’ve seen a big improvement recently out on her walks.
Shivers needs a home with other confident steady dogs and it won’t be long before she’s absolutely fine.

💔💔💔URGENT APPEAL💔💔💔

There are always dogs needing help 💔

Everyday we get help requests from rescuers whether it’s from the streets, pound, or homes each dog has its own story of why it urgently needs us.

It’s a relentless uphill struggle and with the financial side becoming more difficult everyday - it feels like at the moment we are saying no than we are yes 💔💔😔

Today alone our rescuer has been asked to help 6 small dogs 💔 Each pair of dogs is currently in a home that they have to leave and for these dogs it means being given away or they end up in the pound. As small dogs that sadly doesn’t end well for them💔😔

Our rescuer has asked if we can take on these dogs, we have said we will appeal to help the first 2 pairs as these 4 dogs are the ones at risk of going to the pound this weekend 😔
Depending on whether we can help these we will then make a decision on the remaining 2.

So right now we are hoping to raise funds so we can take these 4 dogs.

These dogs are all in homes and will not cope in the public shelter 💔

Furia arrived to GDS recently and has diabetes.
Not easy to manage in a kennel situation.
Thanks to you who generously donated she’s going to Scotland hopefully in August with the lovely Lauren 🙏🏻❤️
This is after she’s fit enough to be spayed. Tomorrow she has more tests in relation to her diabetes where she will spend the day having all sorts done.
This is our first diabetic dog so we are learning more and more yet again.
Furia remains very thin despite eating well. She’s coming on in confidence too 🫶
