This has been a persistent issue with bots for a long time, and it's time that we take action to prevent scammers from taking advantage of it.
Let's work together to keep the NFT community safe and prevent scammers from harming innocent members. Stay vigilant, stay safe!
As I continue to investigate NFT scams, I have come across a new scam that scammers are using and it's working quite well. I'm not sharing this information so that people can do it themselves, but rather to raise awareness and keep everyone alert.

Then, they have two accounts message the new members - one in DMs, asking them to verify their account through a link. If they refuse, the scammers use the account that is verified as a HOLDER of the project and provide the new members with a fake verification link.
To fix this issue, I suggest that @Project Staff disable the welcome channel in Discord servers. Currently, non-staff members can see this channel, which enables bots to detect when new people join the server.
The reason this scam works so well is that new members in Discord servers tend to trust holders, as they believe that they are genuine members of the community. This is especially true when holders have a large number of messages in the server, which makes them seem more credible
