Discussion | ⚪️
This glass pad comes in 3 different beautiful designs, The Philosophers Stone, ED & AL, and Homunculus.

I went for the Philosopher’s Stone art, the surface type is listed as balanced but definitely feels more controlled. The uncoated surface feels incredibly smooth for an uncoated pad, with very minimal texture. The lower speed gives very easy stopping power and strong grip.
Comparing this to the lunar speed surface from arbiter they’re very similar in smoothness. The lunar speed comes coated while the lunar balance comes uncoated. So it’s pretty impressive how the uncoated is basically as smooth as the coated version. The lunar speed definitely has a jump in speed, sitting in the balance to low speed area. While the lunar balance definitely sits in the slower control/balance margin

Pros | 🟢
Crazy Smooth for an Uncoated pad, the control gives an amazing grip and really lets you flick to targets efficiently. The backing on this pad is good enough to not move on your desk. But definitely isn’t the grippiest backing I’ve tried, this is a very universal pad for lots of tasks.
Cons | 🔴
Sadly I’ve had sensor tracking issues on this pad, I’m unsure as if this is a possible problem with this surface type. Or possibly an issue with my unit specifically, the lunar speed has been flawless and hasn’t had any tracking issues.
Dust and hair is more of a problem on this pad in my experience, compared to other uncoated pads like the (Tenta-x ISEEN) or the (Padsmith Speed). at times my skates pickup on some tiny particles.
Final Thoughts | ⚫️
If you’re looking for a smooth and effortless slower glass pad this is an excellent option. Be warned if you have a dusty environment or have pets this isn’t the most pet friendly glass pad. The art on this pad is one of my favorites I love seeing collabs like this, and really hope to see a Naruto collab in the future.

@StaticeHQ I have a massive skate, mouse and pad collection. I could test different sensors skates and surface types to give plenty of feedback. I can also compare differences between the Seraph coated, uncoated to the new release.
