@ITVRugby If the ref has a doubt that it may not have been held up, why go to the TMO with an on-field decision? Make the decision after seeing it numerous times, from different angles in slower time. Is there any reason not to do this?

@ITVRugby @davidflatman If forensic rugby intervention looks for mitigation to keep a player on the field after a direct head contact, look for reasons to award the attacking team, especially if both teams had players that left the scrum at the same time. If it’s that fine a call, leave it to the ref.
