Our #wellbeing group welcomed @St_Benets pupils again today to work on our #communityallotment and as always, they were wonderful. Thank you to all the children for their continued enthusiasm and hard work.
We look forward to our day with @St_Aidans_RC today! A wonderful Edmund Rice school exploring justice and advocacy together. @TheJusticeDesk@ePRATYeK@erebb
@TheJusticeDesk and @ePRATYeK visit @St_Aidans_RC to share their work on justice & human rights and learn about the amazing positive culture at the school. Mutual learning.
Today we prepared our beds to plant more onions, we harvested tomatoes and we worked hard on our compost bin- well done to the #wellbeing group, our #communityallotment is looking good!
Not all our produce turned out how we hoped it would, but we took it as a great learning experience and talked about what factors might have negatively impacted the growth of our sweetcorn #communityallotment#staidanscommunityallotment#wellbeing
Today begins the month of October, the month of the Rosary and of the missions. I encourage everyone to experience the beauty of praying the Rosary, contemplating the mysteries of Christ with Mary and invoking her intercession for the needs of the Church and of the world.
October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Ms Szczepanska invites pupils and staff to come together to pray the Rosary every Wednesday morning in October, from 8am until 8:10am in the Chapel.
This evening we had the pleasure of hosting a small event at our #CommunityAllotment for a Sunderland scout group. We are very proud of Thomas, who organised and led the event which will help him obtain a young leader's badge. Well done!
