The DVC of the University of Cape Town, Professor Elelwani Ramugondo emphasized the importance of preserving one's cultural heritage and maintaining a connection to one's roots. She highlighted how many modern innovations are deeply inspired by traditional indigenous practices.
Mr Tobi Mzobe, Acting Manager for Office of the CEO at SACNASP, gave a warm welcome to the esteemed guests of the day, and further on introduced to the stage, Professor Elelwani Ramugondo, who is the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town.
