Day 2 of the Louth District Scouts Challenge Weekend, today sees teams of cubs embarking on 9 different challenges to see which pack comes out the winner.

Our team are busy today running the Louth District Scouts 2023 Challenge Event. A selection of orienteering and challenge exercises lay ahead for several teams representing from across district.

It’s been a long day for our activity team getting prepared, setup and ready for Louth Districts St George’s Day Activity Event tomorrow. Lots of fun and exciting activities for the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers to do.

Of course we had to try out some low ropes too!

Excellent day today by our team getting the main aspects of our permanent climbing and abseiling tower facility in place. Here’s to the next stage.

Busy day today for our activities team. Our hydraulic tower is finally going up permanently, thanks to our local engineering company for the loan of crane to put it into place.

What a great weekend our team has had with our local explorer troops. Busy time preparing and building a large obstacle course made purely by using pioneering skills.

Tonight some of our members have been teaching a local scout group some basic survival first aid skills. It’s amazing how many different things a Scouting Necker can be used for. #beprepared #skillsforlife

What a weekend it has been for our team. With 97 man hours put in over the last 3 days it has been hard heavy work, but what a difference and a major start to our new activity area. The homemade chocolate cake by one of our members has helped massively 🍰

A very productive day once again today. The bases are complete. It’s all taking shape. Back again tomorrow for day three and some more tidying. Oh and we’ve got our outdoor table tennis tables built this evening.
