Current vibe is summed up by these two:
"Let's be reconciled to having an unsatisfactory spiritual life" St. Therese of Lisieux, and
"Housekeeping, the art of the infinite, is no game for amateurs." Ursula K. Le Guin
tbh its not even anything crazy and i feel like most people would agree
basically: i think the 5 minute appointments that you have to wait 45 mins past your appointment time to be seen for are like a torture method for pregnant women (not to mention if you have young children that either have to come with, or you have to find childcare for). i hate going to the appointments every single week at the end of pregnancy when im the most uncomfortable.
i hate the fearmongering at every turn rather than just giving you straight the facts/stats and information relevant to your own pregnancy. like its impossible for them to not turn it into "however if you dont do what i say you and your child are gonna die tonight". i just want a full understanding and informed consent.
i hate the constant push for inductions and c sections when theres even an inkling of something being concerning. what other methods can we look into first? how dire is the situation? is baby flatlining or do i just need to drink some sugar and wait for to them wake up?
anyway next pregnancy my ideal ***FOR MYSELF*** would be
- confirmation ultrasound
- anatomy ultrasound at 20 weeks
- optional extra testing at parents discretion or as needed
- patient monitors weight, fundal height blood pressure and fetal heartrate at home (all things i successfully did last pregnancy)
- midwife comes to house for appointments
- induction not even considered until past 42 weeks
thats all with a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. high risk pregnancy would change that for myself but yeah i dont want to go into a traditional OBGYNs office ever again it drives me crazy.
OKAY @elonmusk HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH YOUR TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS INSTEAD OF BUYING EVERY HOMELESS PERSON HOMES LIKE THE LIBTARDS ARE TELLING YOU TOO
You will design a Tesla minivan and then gift one to every single mom with 3+ children so we can help solve the declining population problem.
We will also design the slimmest, safest, easiest car seat to ever use. I have no history in designing vehicles but I am a mom and know what the people need.
Put me on the design team.
Love, Cave mommy

@KJP Interior Freedom by Jacques Phillipe. We respond to every situation with either rebellion, resentment, or consent. Anything other than consent is a lack of faith, hope, and love. Trust God to bring about good in every situation.

Went out to the front porch to grab my watering can, and woke up in a daze an hour later, realizing I still hadn't grabbed it, because I went outside and saw the new grass needed watered, which reminded me to water the Pear trees, which I then staked down, and then
I discovered a hose that had been left on all night, which somehow prompted me to install the tomato cages, which led me to prepping my seed potatoes (late), which had me online ordering more supplies, and then I set my new plants outside and noticed my sweet peas needed watering
