Where rubber meets the road…. or running shoes hit the pavement 👟, we love to be there! SAI’s Harrisburg Office confronted the scorching heat to participate in the 45th annual Harrisburg Area YMCA Races Harrisburg Mile, Corporate Challenge. SAI placed 20th out of 37 teams.

Last night, SAI’s Brian Long and Plum Contracting, Inc.’s Grady Smith accepted the ASHE-Mid Allegheny Award for the Margaret Road Intersection Project. 👏 Thanks, Gary L. Madey, P.E. and ASHE-Mid Allegheny for a great evening.
What do you get when you combine perfect spring weather, a packed course, and five determined runners? A standout performance at the FedEx Pittsburgh Marathon. Team SAI crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 3:12:47, good for a blazing 7:22 per mile average. Congrats!
SAI was happy to sponsor The PSU Steel Bridge Team. Last weekend, the team competed in the Mid-Atlantic 2026 regional competition at University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. The team placed 3rd in lightness & 4th overall at the Student Steel Bridge Competition.
ACEC/PA hosted its inaugural STEAM Day on Friday, April 17. The event hosted more than 150 middle school students from southwestern Pennsylvania. Students got to see science and engineering with 15-minute stations, all hosted by local engineering companies and organizations.
